Before I head off to my full time job this morning, I thought I would write a post about the first couple I met at the Restoring Honor rally this past Saturday. They are Mike and Sue Maliszewski.
What a wonderful couple!
They had gotten together a 56 passenger bus of fellow Patriots and driven 7 hours through the night to come to the rally. Driving from Phoenix, NY must have been quite a feat with the amount of traffic on the roads! Thank you Mike and Sue for taking some time with me!
I asked why they wanted to come to the event, and their response?
Because they had to come and be a part of something that harkens back to our Founding Forefathers and what they believed in… a God that gives us certain inalienable rights. Not a government. No. Not a government giving us rights, but God!
Remember back when the healthcare bill was being debated and then passed? Remember what the democrats said after it was over?
We have now given you a new right!
Those of you who read history and believe in history should have shuddered then and just now as you heard and read those words. I can guarantee our Founding Forefathers were doing somersaults in their graves. They must have been thinking:
We risked our lives and fortunes. We paid the price with the blood and sorrows of thousands. And they believe that was so THEY could entitle people to these rights? Have they not read their Bible? Have they not read Plato, or Locke, or Hobbes, or… SO MANY OTHERS?
Trust me dear fathers (G.W., J.A., T.J., J.H., and the rest), THEY HAVE NOT! They only read the polling numbers that tell them what they should do to get re-elected, and they listen to some progressive diatribe.
THANK GOODNESS FOR THE MALISZEWSKIS, THEIR FRIENDS IN THAT 56 PASSENGER BUS, AND THE OTHER 500,000+ PEOPLE WHO CAME ON SATURDAY TO DEMONSTRATE THEIR DISDAIN FOR THESE PROFESSIONAL POLITICIANS, THIS NEW ARISTOCRACY!
LEST WE NOT FORGET AS WE WALK INTO THE POLLING BOOTHS THIS FALL AND AGAIN 799 DAYS FROM NOW! DO NOT ALLOW THIS NATION TO REMAIN AN ABDICATION NATION! DO NOT ALLOW YOUR LIBERTY TO BE STOLEN. DO NOT PLACE THE BURDEN OF DEBT UPON GENERATIONS FAR INTO THE FUTURE AND ENSLAVE THEM!
